MishMash presents "Colours of Karamoja" Sat & Sun 10th & 11th September.

On the weekend of 10-11th September MishMash presented a special event "Colours of Karamoja". The aim was to bring music, dance, art and craft from Karamoja to Kampala for a weekend extravaganza. MishMash didn't disappoint. Over the course of the weekend, wonderfully colourful and vibrant dances were performed by 35 Karamajong in ceremonial clothing; the gallery was filled with magnificent photos from the region; and unique craft was available to purchase from the market place. As with all other monthly MishMash events, a wide selection of delicious food and drink was available and later on in the day, as dusk settled and the campfire burned, the guests were treated to the wonderful sounds of Milégé Afro Jazz band under the starry night sky.
